The title will astound you if you were to truly understand it.
The year 2022 presents the Black individual with a real conundrum. It doesn’t matter if you are, a Ph.D., JD, CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVIST, COMMUNITY LEADER, ENTREPRENEUR, or a simple sympathizer of Black People, if you do not understand the exceptionalism of Black people in relationship to America you will remain confused and defensive.
DON’T TALK ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE AND VOTING IN ANY FORM OR FASHION, if you do not know what you are doing with voting information and history?
The media cycles the Voter’s Right Act conversation back and forth while Black people don’t understand it at ALL.
If you were to ask Black people what’s all the fuss about, they will say it’s about Voting and the Right to vote… yadda, yadda, yadda…AS AN AMERICAN.
What the Black elite, (Ph.D.’s, Masters, Activist, Politicians, Pastor and Preachers and professors; things of that nature) don’t understand and can’t understand is that Voting is an ECONOMIC Exercise and was written to be in the original U.S. Consitution.
Let’s get one thing clear, SDMNEWS has always been committed to the curation of information that informs and orients. Why orientation? Because news is to inform and liberate. If one is not informed on what is presented as “NEWS” then the announcement of that news will not “matter” to you in a way that liberates you.
This is a point of reality; as we are in the 4th Hundred and 3rd Year within our America slumber and still have not changed our collective mindset.
There’s a convincing consensus here, those of leadership and or prominence are clearly unequipped to generate a critical and analytical framework that will render abundant results commiserate with our collective contribution to this country and the western world.
Frankly, It is embarrassing to see and hear Black intellectuals, leaders, and activists play into their own death and take us with them.
Interestingly enough, the below video highlights some of our brightest and smartest private sector CEOs demanding a critical approach to Voting Rights tampering. They are approaching it as “criminal” and as a Business agreement though they do not state so; as it applies to the citizenry of Black Folks.
But why wasn’t this on CNN? MSNBC? FOX NEWS? CBS NEWS? NBC NEWS? TELEMUNDO? HUFFINGTON POST? WALL ST JOURNAL? and especially ALL THE BLACK NEWS WIRES?
It is key to understand, that Black CEOs were talking on a financial cable channel about voting, hmmm! See, if you look closely, what Black America KEEPS MISSING is that this conversation captured on a FINANCIAL TELEVISION SHOW had no social nor moral personalities as the starring role. No AL SHARPTON, No NAACP, and No CORNEL WEST, and No PREACHERS.
The people in this video, have another interest. PERIOD!
THE POINT…
The question is simply this: Can a negro, whose ancestors were imported into this country, and sold as slaves, become a member of the political community formed and brought into existence by the Constitution of the United States, and as such become entitled to all the rights, and privileges, and immunities, guarantied by that instrument to the citizen?
Justice Roger B. Taney said NO!
Dred Scott 1857
This is key to understand because, Black people cannot figure out why we keep addressing the same 14th century, 15th century, 16th century, 17th century, 18th century, and 19th-century issues.
The moment we took our eyes off the ball with our “dumb goodness” and “stupid suffering” via our embracing unnatural living perspectives in trade of Civil Perspectives, ultimately we became our own worst enemy and began to participate in our own genocide. This type of low-level thinking within the foundation of our meetings and get-togethers, consistently finds ourselves worst off and divesting in our own interest.
How?
1919 – 1920, by the time the 19th century came, Blacks while slaves, ex-slaves, and indentured servants under the protection of the Freedmen’s Bureau had amassed around 20 million acres of U.S. Farmland. Then came the need for a 15th amendment, UT OH!…you’re about tose something… the South had passionately protested against Negro Freeholders or Freeholders, (yes all one word) due to the land from their perspective should have been their’s and lobbied to the federal government; that stated: “That the protections of emancipated Africans were unconstitutional TO THEM.”
So the newly freed African Men that held on to their land at that time WAS ABLE TO VOTE!
WAS ABLE TO VOTE!
Black men who were landowners could VOTE! via the 15th amendment.
The moment we make the subject of voting a social and a civil right, we have misunderstood and still continue to misunderstand America. A CIVIL RIGHT is a right that is never earned on merit, only if demanded it will be provisionally given on a temporary basis and will be eligible for review.
One thing about Culture is that within a culture; The holy of holies is the respect of their foremothers and fathers. They worship and revere their ancestors. For the life of me and the love of God, why don’t African American people believe and don’t respect the fact that white Americans will respect and follow theirs, even if we don’t?
This is why Black people are consistently in civil war efforts aka “Dumb Goodness and “Stupid Suffering” keep appealing to a culture that is operating under the laws, concepts, and values of their predecessors!
Black people, descendants of slaves, do not have any rights a “WHITE MAN IS BOUND TO RESPECT” the truth of the matter is, that No Black Scholars, Black Politicians, No Black Organizations, nor Black Church denomination wants to understand, that Black voters without property (not a Mortgage) cannot vote or be counted. To understand voting is to understand Greenwood Tulsa, OK. aka Little Africa. it was the destruction of LAND. Therefore wipes out your economic interests in the business of America!
MAGA is not a social, prejudicial, or political meme it is an Economic framework of power and the management of resources that is akin to interest.
Making America Great Again is about ownership of what the vote buys in America. The “right” isn’t a social or Moral chip, it is an economic “Rule” chip. Under the fact that Black people’s land-base is declining in chips within the poker game, they have no interest, stake, or holding shares in what happens in America. There is no BOND literally or figuratively for white America to be bound to!
So said their ancestors, if you don’t listen to yours, they will, have, and will always listen to theirs.
