The ground that created the MAGA acronym, the term “Make America Great” without the Again word added onto the phrase is drenched in “blood” of Africa’s greatest investment; its people. But most of all, the energy of their humanity, because before their arrival there was none ( in my opinion)! Now for the Donkey and the Democrat, now maybe this is a little too deep, but it isn’t by accident Democrats would see themselves as the “Stubborn as a mule party.” Here’s some history:
The Democratic Party’s donkey and the Republican Party’s elephant have been on the political scene since the 19th century. The origins of the Democratic donkey can be traced to the 1828 presidential campaign of Andrew Jackson. During that race, opponents of Jackson called him a jackass. However, rather than rejecting the label, Jackson, a hero of the War of 1812 who later served in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, was amused by it and included an image of the animal in his campaign posters. Jackson went on to defeat incumbent John Quincy Adams and serve as America’s first Democratic president. In the 1870s, influential political cartoonist Thomas Nast helped popularize the donkey as a symbol for the entire Democratic Party.

THE IRONY:
For those who haven’t been told plantation stories and who’s family members have not passed down the greatest story of human organized labor known to man; (the other being the pyramids of Dynastic Egypt, aka Kemet, North Africa) SDMNEWS proposes this question How ironic is it that the party of over 30 million African Americans is too stubborn to live up to its promises to Black folk; even when they’ve given them their vote?
Imagine, A slave labor force, given relic and or symbol of exploitation “The Mule” which is a Female horse bred with a male Donkey.
The irony is that Donkeys are not easily startled (unlike horses) and have a keen sense of curiosity. Donkeys have a reputation for stubbornness but this is due to their highly developed sense of self-preservation…or Conservation! Donkey’s — Conservatives, hmm?
The Democratic party was given one of the most stubborn and hardheaded animals as its symbol to represent its political character and culture.
The relationship between Slavery and the dems reminds me of so many Donkey/mule-like traits, the mule was a given to the Black enslaved as a slave companion for transportation and work partner on the plantation. the “mule” was their work-horse, right-hand so-to-speak. The Mule, however, is limited equipment, you can’t breed them to have more, due to mules being sterile. Donkey’s/the Jack ASS is not synonymous with African Americans, only the mule, a non-creating, scary, watered, bred-down STERILE version of access to the American dream.
The mule was a perfect tool as it fit the subconscious perception of white people about their POTENTIAL new fellow land shareholders. #the40acresandamule now that I think about the hallmark proposition was just as empty of a promise as the mule was useful to the wealth-building premise and promise to Black farmers..
Another fact: Mules, requires little food, highly resistant to heat, flies, and disease, faster than oxen, stronger than horses, proved in the hands of plantation labor to be the most efficient and economical of all available machines, of course, given to Slave laborers.
Democrats and their Donkey’s (the real species) of course a Donkey is a descendant of the African Wild Ass. Africa’s most efficient desert animals are the symbol of the democratic party, they see themselves as original and like its likeness sake and democratic mascot president Andrew Jackson, African slaves are the mules (hybrid) of the United States and the donkey’s aka African Wild Ass is pure. How Ironic!
To bring this all home, the party called the “Dems” have treated their American brethren like mules, the not-so-really part of the U.S. fabric, the government not to mention the party. So why are African Americans so loyal?
Because, a white Donkey or liberal expects their mule, to be surefooted, recovering quickly from hard work, the one key point of a Donkey versus Mule, the Donkey will preserve the good ole days no matter what, at least Trump understands the good ole days are gone and must be RECAPTURED. The “Dems” on the other hand act like all is good, the only problem is those dam elephants.
Donkey’s and Dems have this ability to shield its own horrific relationship with Black Americans in a way that you can’t tell a donkey from a mule.
Andrew Jackson was the first Dem to run a presidential campaign, under the auspices of the party the lesser evil had its bell ringer moments. The problem has never been the individuals within the party but the party inside the individual.
So, be it, Black folks are Democrats, is the answer yet another party? Yes and no! But if the consciousness of a party is wrought with colonial white class protection and policies that create and empower minorities into a majority and privileges and empowers them into monopolies, such as monopolizing governments by one class, do Black folk rally understand the party?
So, what does the future of the democratic party hold for the African American population?
More of the same! If it walks like a donkey, sounds like a donkey; it’s an Ass!
